  • Relaxation and stress reduction

  • Relieve sore, tight muscles

  • Relieve tension and headaches

  • Better sleep

  • Increase range of motion

  • Before or after sports activity

  • Recovery from injury or surgery

  • Improve circulation

  • Recovering from jet lag

  • Better quality of life

What are the benefits of massage therapy?

Massage has both physical and emotional benefits. It can help relieve muscle tension, reduce or eliminate muscle pain, increase range of motion, and reduce stress. We offer a variety of services and treatment lengths, so you can be sure to get just what you need.

How often should I get a massage?

Every body is different, so we work with you to decide how many treatments you will need or how often you should come back. Some clients come in proactively and regularly to keep any pain or tension at bay, while others come in for a specific problem that needs a few appointments in a shorter time frame. And when your situation changes, we can adjust our schedule to get you back on track.

What training do you have?

All our massage therapists are Registered Massage Therapists in good standing with the Massage Therapists Association of Saskatchewan. You can see more on our individual specialties on our Team page.

What’s your cancellation policy?

Each practitioner sets a policy that works for their practice, so be sure to check with whomever you’re booking with to get the latest information on their policy.

Are your services covered by health plans?

Most of our services are covered by extended health insurance plans, though some plans require your doctor to prescribe the service to receive coverage. If you have questions about your specific massage needs, contact your therapist to discuss it in advance.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

The most important thing to bring is a healthy client! If you feel unwell, have a cough, fever, or any other cold/flu symptoms, please reschedule your appointment.

Make sure to fill out the intake form that is emailed to you after you book your appointment online. It will help me understand what we need to work on during your appointment.

A warm shower or bath before your appointment will help you get a bit relaxed, if you like.

A quick trip to the bathroom just before you get on the table is a good idea, and we recommend having a bottle of water ready to go when you’re done.

Do I have to take off all of my clothes for a massage?

Short answer: No, you get to decide what makes you feel most comfortable.

Long answer: To get the best massage, you need to be comfortable and we need to be able to access the areas we’re working on. Massage treatments get their best results without clothing covering the areas we massage. This is especially important for full-body treatments, including hot stone massage.

For all sessions, you are covered by sheets or a blanket, and we only uncover the area of your body we are currently working on. You are given complete privacy to undress before our session starts and again to get dressed when the session is over.

What parts of my body will you massage?

Each massage is different, which is why we have new clients fill out an intake form that covers any chronic issues, pain or injuries, and always check in with clients at the beginning of a session to see what they need. That helps us decide what areas need attention, though you might be surprised to see where tension builds up to cause trouble in other areas of your body!

Full-body treatments usually include massaging the back, neck and shoulders, arms, legs, feet, and sometimes hands.

Isn't it weird for a stranger to be touching me?

When you put it that way, yeah, it does sound a bit weird. Massage therapists definitely have their clients in a more exposed situation than chiropractors and physiotherapists, but we will treat you just as professionally.

We do everything we can to make the situation comfortable and the opposite of weird. If you're feeling a bit nervous before your first appointment, rest assured that the nervousness usually passes within the first few minutes of your treatment. We are trained professionals, and have many years' experience making clients feel relaxed and at ease during their treatment.

We take the safety of our clients and therapists seriously, following the Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics laid out by the Massage Therapist Association of Saskatchewan (the governing body for RMTs in Saskatchewan). We also reserve the right to refuse service if we feel it may violate anyone’s safety.

Will my muscles hurt or be sore after my treatment?

They might. Though most people feel relaxed and have less pain after a massage, some techniques can leave you a bit tender for a day or two. Thankfully, the soreness usually passes quickly and leaves you with less tension, fewer aches and pains, and better range of motion and mobility.

Where is your clinic?
